The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Jendoubi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mongi Yahia in the 9th minute of the match. Paulo Jendoubi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mongi Yahia in the 11th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Paulo Boularès recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Said Ben Stambouli. Paulo Boularès showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Paulo Boularès fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Ben Stambouli having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Riadh Khaled fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Said Ben Stambouli, passed just outside the right post. After 27 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Chems Chaldun. Beaconsfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jamel El Ouaer in the 30th minute. Jamel El Ouaer made a great header on Beaconsfield's corner, it was just that Oakham's Said Ben Stambouli managed to reach the ball for a save. If Riadh Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 35 in the game by Paulo Boularès from a close distance when the talented Said Ben Stambouli managed to make a qualified save. Oakham's players were relieved. Said Ben Stambouli made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Paulo Boularès sent off a good shot on target. If Riadh Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Riadh Khaled to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Bahi Basli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Moustapha Lamouchi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bahi Basli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paulo Jendoubi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Beaconsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moustapha Lamouchi to maneuver through the defense. When Paulo Boularès came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Beaconsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Boularès couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Mehdi Lamouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Tarak Ghodhbane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beaconsfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakham the free kick. Tarak Ghodhbane hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Paulo Jendoubi was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Mongi Yahia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mongi Yahia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oakham had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
