Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Aymen Chedli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tarak M'hadhebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdallah Hadda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Dhafer having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdallah Hadda got free with Mahmoud Dhafer in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarak M'hadhebi took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atef Jaziri. Atef Jaziri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ali Nefzi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mirfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Nefzi couldn't finish the play. Ali Nefzi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Atef Jaziri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirfield. Laamari Yahia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mirfield's Mahmoud Dhafer got control of the ball when Abdallah Hadda tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarak M'hadhebi in the 27th minute of play forced Polzeath's goalkeeper Atef Jaziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Tarak M'hadhebi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atef Jaziri. Polzeath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarak M'hadhebi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Polzeath's Atef Jaziri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarak M'hadhebi in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarak M'hadhebi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atef Jaziri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Polzeath's Abdallah Hadda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahmoud Dhafer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Abdallah Hadda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mahmoud Dhafer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Mirfield's Ali Nefzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atef Jaziri narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarak M'hadhebi was the one to do the kick off. Oussama Tlili scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mahmoud Dhafer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Nefzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Polzeath's goal looked a bit too open when Tarak M'hadhebi came free, but Atef Jaziri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atef Jaziri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarak M'hadhebi's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 72 played minutes, Mirfield's Mourad Jelassi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atef Jaziri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mirfield reached it. When Helmi Ghannouchi fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirfield's protests and gave Helmi Ghannouchi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Polzeath booed when Mirfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmi Ghannouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Ali Nefzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nefzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirfield's Tarak M'hadhebi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Nefzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emir Trabelsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Mirfield got a freekick which was hit by Riadh Abdelkader. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirfield's goalkeeper Mahmoud Dhafer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mirfield players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
