Maher Mabrouk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Iteb Korbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Iteb Korbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarek BenAmor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 14 in the game by Karim Salem from a close distance when the talented Tarek BenAmor managed to make a qualified save. Codicote's players were relieved. Karim Salem was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Hurworth's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iteb Korbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Anis Gasmi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarek BenAmor skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Salem got free with Tarek BenAmor in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maher Mabrouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Soliman in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Hurworth getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ali Ghigani hit a great ball. Mohamed Soliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Braham hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mohamed Soliman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Maher Mabrouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Soliman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Soliman in the 55th minute of play forced Hurworth's goalkeeper Maher Mabrouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karim Salem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tarek BenAmor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hurworth's Ali Ghigani got a free kick in the 64th minute. Habib Braham hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Codicote's Mohamed Soliman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maher Mabrouk. Maher Mabrouk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Iteb Korbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Anis Gasmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Hurworth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emir Haj Zouiten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mohamed Soliman struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Maher Mabrouk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codicote. When Mohamed Soliman came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Codicote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Soliman couldn't finish the play. If Emir Haj Zouiten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
