The Croyde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohamad Sallemi should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Kamel Azaïez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Slimane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoubair Essediri struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mohamad Sallemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Handsworth AFC. In the 26th minute, Atef Hammemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Handsworth AFC's Mehdi Slimane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atef Hammemi in the 30th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Croyde got a freekick which was hit by Habib Ali Khalifa. In the 36th minute, Zoubair Essediri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Handsworth AFC's Oussama M'hadhebi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamel Azaïez in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehdi Slimane saved Handsworth AFC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kamel Azaïez made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Oussama M'hadhebi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Handsworth AFC's Oussama M'hadhebi in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mehdi Slimane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fakhreddine Bejaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Fakhreddine Bejaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Handsworth AFC's Mehdi Slimane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mohamad Sallemi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Zoubair Essediri sent off a good shot on target. If Fakhreddine Bejaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Handsworth AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Belgacem Bassir hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play Croyde's Habib Ali Khalifa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Habib Ali Khalifa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Croyde's Kamel Azaïez got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jawhar Bourguiba kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Oussama M'hadhebi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Handsworth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oussama M'hadhebi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kamel Azaïez fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croyde's protests and gave Kamel Azaïez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Croyde's Kamel Azaïez got a free kick in the 79th minute. With splendid footwork Oussama M'hadhebi arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 81st minute. Zoubair Essediri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mohamad Sallemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a left leg Mohamad Sallemi saved Croyde from getting behind. Handsworth AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
