David Yahyaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Jebali was a little too slow when Samir Mouelhi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. After 27 played minutes Donnington got a freekick which was hit by Bechir Cherni. When Mohamed Nefzi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Donnington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Nefzi couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brahim Sanchou during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Donnington booed when New Romney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahim Sanchou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes, Haykel Mellouli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Donnington and the New Romney players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Donnington got a freekick which was hit by Haykel Mellouli. After having played for 39 minutes, David Yahyaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Romney's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Yahyaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New Romney's Chokri Chérif got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraj Kasraoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maher Maatouk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Nefzi to make the kick off. Fraj Kasraoui made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Maher Maatouk sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, New Romney's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Nefzi came free, but Fraj Kasraoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Donnington's Maher Maatouk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fraj Kasraoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hatem Robime hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Maher Maatouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Yahyaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donnington's Mohamed Nefzi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraj Kasraoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haykel Mellouli in the 66th minute of the match. New Romney's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Mohamed Nefzi scored to the left of an out of position Fraj Kasraoui, making the score, 2-1. When Noureddine Ziadi fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Romney's protests and gave Noureddine Ziadi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Noureddine Ziadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Donnington's Wissem Cherif sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fraj Kasraoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chokri Chérif in the 83rd minute of play forced Donnington's goalkeeper Mohamed Jebali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Nefzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fraj Kasraoui was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Fraj Kasraoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Nefzi in the 92nd minute of the match. Maher Maatouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fraj Kasraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Romney's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
