Spectators: 10683 (Terracing: 8176, Seating: 2507, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emir Haj Ouertani took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Gwidon Misiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunton Bassett's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kayazak carthage the free kick. After 4 played minutes Dunton Bassett got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Misiewicz. After 9 minutes, Hassan Meriah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunton Bassett and the Kayazak carthage players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmed Ben Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Nordgren having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Emir Haj Ouertani could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Håkan Nordgren however easily saved by the left post. Emir Haj Ouertani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Boumnijel in the 28th minute of the match. Riadh Cherni hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Anouar Mabrouki came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunton Bassett's Mohamed Adhoum. But to his dismay, Mohamed Adhoum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 37th match minute, Dunton Bassett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Misiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Ben Yahia in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Dunton Bassett booed when Kayazak carthage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caid Bargawi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Khaled Boumnijel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Håkan Nordgren. Khaled Boumnijel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaies Marzouki to strike the kick off in the second half. Anouar Mabrouki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaies Marzouki in the 50th minute of play. A hard shot 53 in the game by Mohamed Mokthar from a close distance when the talented Anouar Mabrouki managed to make a qualified save. Kayazak carthage's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Kayazak carthage's zone, Mohamed Mokthar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anouar Mabrouki came out of the goal and Mohamed Mokthar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Dunton Bassett got a freekick which was hit by Abdelwahab Yahia. In the 67th match minute, Kayazak carthage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riadh Cherni to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Ahmed Ben Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Nordgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Mokthar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Kayazak carthage got a freekick which was hit by Emir Haj Ouertani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riadh Cherni in the 96th minute of play forced Dunton Bassett's goalkeeper Håkan Nordgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
