Spectators: 10710 (Terracing: 8197, Seating: 2513, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emir Haj Ouertani made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Hug Urquiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anouar Mabrouki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stade Tunisien's Abderrahim Naoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Ben Yahia in the 13th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Jeronimo Corderall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kayazak carthage's Anouar Mabrouki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stade Tunisien were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kayazak carthage's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faouzi Ammar took the corner. Stade Tunisien's Emir Haj Mokthar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anouar Mabrouki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Stade Tunisien's Abderrahim Naoui got control of the ball when Khaled Boumnijel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes Kayazak carthage's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faouzi Ammar who took care of the corner kick. Abderrahim Naoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Ben Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Anouar Mabrouki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Corderall in the 33rd minute of play. Emir Haj Ouertani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Abderrahim Naoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hug Urquiaga in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anouar Mabrouki saved Kayazak carthage from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Noureddine Mestiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Corderall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anouar Mabrouki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hug Urquiaga in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anouar Mabrouki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Corderall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Hug Urquiaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anouar Mabrouki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Stade Tunisien's Martin Herman was substituted for Faouzi Ammar. If Ahmed Ben Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stade Tunisien made a substitution. Achraf Neifar replaced Emir Haj Mokthar. After a rather tough play, Stade Tunisien's Vicente Wiseman got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir Haj Ouertani in the 77th minute of play forced Stade Tunisien's goalkeeper Abderrahim Naoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stade Tunisien's zone, Emir Haj Ouertani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrahim Naoui came out of the goal and Emir Haj Ouertani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Stade Tunisien getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ibrahim Dartel hit a great ball. Abderrahim Naoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Boumnijel in the 89th minute of play. Anouar Mabrouki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuste Tresgallo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Tuste Tresgallo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anouar Mabrouki firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 95th play minutes Tuste Tresgallo shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Anouar Mabrouki and just under the crossbar into goal. The Stade Tunisien supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stade Tunisien would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
