COT's Jaouhar Ghannem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Aouichaoui in the 11th minute of play. Riadh El Naili scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Tipi got free with Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Riadh El Naili capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Riadh El Naili really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Lassaad Makhlouf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lassaad Makhlouf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Ali Aouichaoui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Stock's Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Stock from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Riadh El Naili made a precise shot to the right of Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali. Stock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. COT's Hilmi Erçivan got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Lattanzio scored 5-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaouhar Ghannem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lassaad Makhlouf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riadh El Naili in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali saved Stock from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Cleto Tipi made a precise shot to the right of Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali. Stock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stock's goalkeeper Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lassaad Makhlouf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Riadh El Naili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Lassaad Makhlouf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaouhar Ghannem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdallah Sélim Haj Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Lattanzio went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, COT's Jaouhar Ghannem got control of the ball when Ali Aouichaoui tried to sneak it across the goal line.
