Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greg McLerie kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Annan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair King to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Greg McLerie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luke Davis was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Lucas Cameron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamish Sim having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Annan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Greg McLerie came free, but Luke Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greg McLerie in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Davis saved Annan AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Annan AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Euan McMurray hit a great ball. Alistair King's late challenge caught a Black Ravens FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair King helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 13 in the game by Wal Lauchlan from a close distance when the talented Luke Davis managed to make a qualified save. Annan AFC's players were relieved. Annan AFC's Lee McDonleavy got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Annan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Greg McLerie came free, but Luke Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Annan AFC's Lucas Cameron in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Ravens FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lee McDonleavy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hamish Sim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Wal Lauchlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Ravens FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Cameron to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Cameron in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamish Sim saved Black Ravens FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Annan AFC's Marcus Gowan got a free kick in the 64th minute. Greg McLerie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke Davis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Greg McLerie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Davis having to interfere. Greg McLerie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Davis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Black Ravens FC's Henry McGeachin got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hamish Sim made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lee McDonleavy sent off a good shot on target. Hamish Sim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcus Gowan. Hamish Sim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Cameron in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Ravens FC! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Annan AFC's Steve Harvey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hamish Sim. Wal Lauchlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luke Davis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Annan AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
