The audience was convinced that Quentin France's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavin McDaniell was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Gavin McDaniell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin France in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Quentin France who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peterculter's Gavin McDaniell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavin McDaniell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun McCowan in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun McCowan in the 35th minute of play forced Peterculter's goalkeeper Gavin McDaniell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin McDaniell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun McCowan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Peterculter made a substitution. Vinny Burnes replaced Ewan Low. Peterculter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scotland Yard the free kick. A collision led to Peterculter getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinny Burnes in the 56th minute of play forced Scotland Yard's goalkeeper Wayne Clarkson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Scotland Yard's Alex Evans got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Craig McLaine fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gavin McDaniell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shaun McCowan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Vinny Burnes scored 1-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wayne Clarkson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, Peterculter could leave the field as winners, despite Scotland Yard having more of the ball for most of the match.
