Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Dinwoodie started the match with the kick off. Ronald Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Tande in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's goalkeeper Tyler Scobie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronald Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Tande in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Golspie getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ter Foster hit a great ball. Jason McPhedran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronald Forsyth. Golspie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 19 played minutes Golspie got a freekick which was hit by Ron Ure. Ronald Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Golspie's Ron Ure got a free kick in the 28th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Reynaldo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gary McQuhirr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Gary McQuhirr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronald Forsyth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Reynaldo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Golspie's Ter Foster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tyler Scobie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ronald Forsyth came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Reynaldo Tande. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Golspie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Tande to make the kick off. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Tyler Scobie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Dinwoodie in the 52nd minute of play. Tyler Scobie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Dinwoodie in the 54th minute of play. Reynaldo Tande came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronald Forsyth could save by the left post. Golspie's Ronald Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Golspie from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ronald Forsyth made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frankie Lauchlan in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Forsyth saved Golspie from getting behind. Golspie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Reynaldo Tande scored to the left of an out of position Ronald Forsyth, making the score, 1-5. Reynaldo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Forsyth having to interfere. Golspie's Ronald Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Golspie from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Golspie's goalkeeper Ronald Forsyth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Tande. The crowd rose to their feet as Frankie Lauchlan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronald Forsyth. That made the score 1-6 in the 85 minute of play. A collision led to Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lourenco Carces hit a great ball. Golspie's Ronald Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Golspie from getting a goal against them. After 91 minutes, Ter Foster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golspie and the Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Golspie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ter Foster to maneuver through the defense. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Jason McPhedran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ronald Forsyth but with some difficulty. After 93 minutes of play Golspie's Ter Foster was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With a little luck, Golspie's Ronald Forsyth got control of the ball when Reynaldo Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Frankie Lauchlan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Lauchlan couldn't finish the play.
