Reece Innie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Timothy McLewis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. A wasted opportunity for Livingston. Derek Wallis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor France in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Timothy McLewis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terence Barrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel McLure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Frankie McLulich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Livingston and the Kilmacolm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frankie McLulich hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Derek Wallis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence Barrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kilmacolm's Reece Innie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Kilmacolm from getting a goal against them. Timothy McLewis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reece Innie having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan Hardie during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Kilmacolm got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Hardie. When Daniel McLure came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Livingston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel McLure couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Terence Barrie was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Connor France managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacolm's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor France was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derek Wallis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Livingston booed when Kilmacolm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven McKeochan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Livingston getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ryan Coultard hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Livingston's Joshua Lauchlan got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute James McAdam managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Connor France sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel McLure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Kilmacolm's Terence Barrie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Derek Wallis. Derek Wallis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Joshua Lauchlan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timothy McLewis in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reece Innie saved Kilmacolm from getting behind. Reece Innie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel McLure in the 76th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Kilmacolm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven McKeochan to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Livingston's Joshua McKinley broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Reece Innie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy McLewis in the 90th minute of play. Frankie McLulich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Livingston were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
