Reece Innie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Connor France came free, but Tyler Scobie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Kilmacolm got a freekick which was hit by Terence Barrie. The long shot by Jason McPhedran in the 23rd minute really tested Reece Innie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tyler Scobie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven McKeochan in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Rick McBrieve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolfgang Becker to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Terence Barrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Scobie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gary McQuhirr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Frankie Lauchlan in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilmacolm's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence Barrie to strike the kick off in the second half. Reece Innie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Tande's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Kilmacolm's Connor France got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Kilmacolm's Reece Innie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Lauchlan in the 65th minute of play. The Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Reynaldo Tande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Steven McKeochan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Reynaldo Tande put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Reece Innie. A collision led to Kilmacolm getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hugh Hewitt hit a great ball. The supporters of Kilmacolm booed when Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason McPhedran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Tande in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reece Innie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute Frankie Lauchlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reece Innie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reece Innie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Kilmacolm got a freekick which was hit by Connor France. Reynaldo Tande took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reece Innie. Reece Innie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
