After recieving a nice pass, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Jason McPhedran tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Larry Henderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peterculter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Lloyd Holden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyler Scobie was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. A collision led to Peterculter getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ronald Purcell hit a great ball. 1-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Reynaldo Tande elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tyler Scobie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewan Low, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Tande in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavin McDaniell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Reynaldo Tande sped through Peterculter's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavin McDaniell. The supporters of Peterculter booed when Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary McQuhirr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyler Scobie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lloyd Holden's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Larry Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gavin McDaniell made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Peterculter made a substitution. Vinny Burnes replaced Ewan Low. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavin McDaniell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Tande in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Vinny Burnes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyler Scobie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Ronald Purcell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lloyd Holden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tyler Scobie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavin McDaniell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gary McQuhirr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin McDaniell having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Gary McQuhirr. Lloyd Holden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyler Scobie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Jason McPhedran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
