Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) Ron McLeish made the kick off and thus started the match. Wal Fair came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Dawes Servant of Evil's Cameron McFeat. But to his dismay, Cameron McFeat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wilfredo Beti made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Bob McCombie sent off a good shot on target. Conor Thomson's late challenge caught a Dawes Servant of Evil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conor Thomson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canonbie booed when Dawes Servant of Evil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Findlayson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ognyan Bukovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wal Fair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Canonbie's zone, Ron McLeish stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wal Fair came out of the goal and Ron McLeish tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Munro McMaster charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Munro McMaster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wal Fair made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ognyan Bukovski in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Canonbie getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Conor Thomson hit a great ball. Wal Fair took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ognyan Bukovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canonbie's goalkeeper Wal Fair, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ron McLeish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ron McLeish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ognyan Bukovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dawes Servant of Evil booed when Canonbie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conor Thomson didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Ron McLeish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canonbie were furious when Munro McMaster was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 62nd minute, Munro McMaster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dawes Servant of Evil's Willie McMath couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canonbie. Ognyan Bukovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ron McLeish took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wal Fair. Wal Fair dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Canonbie's goalkeeper Wal Fair had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron McLeish. Ognyan Bukovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Wal Fair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron McLeish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bob McCombie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Beti having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Canonbie got a freekick which was hit by Les McWalrick. 87 minutes into the match, Canonbie's goalkeeper Wal Fair had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron McLeish. When Ron McLeish came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dawes Servant of Evil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron McLeish couldn't finish the play. Canonbie's Wal Fair proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Canonbie from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Bob McCombie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dawes Servant of Evil's Liam Findlayson got a free kick in the 95th minute.
