Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Hamilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie McTary to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Hamilton got a freekick which was hit by Arthur McLulich. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Alex Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drummore United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Robinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordan Cookson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Gareth Hutchenson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drummore United were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Hamilton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Robinson took the corner. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Alex Robinson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jordan Cookson to make any attempt to save it. Jordan Cookson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie McWalrick in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Drummore United's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis McCreath came free, but Drew Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hamilton booed when Drummore United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Geddes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Hamilton's Angus Cooper broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hamilton's zone, Gareth Hutchenson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordan Cookson came out of the goal and Gareth Hutchenson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Robinson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Jordan Cookson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Drummore United fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Drummore United's Alex Robinson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Drew McKinnon got free with Jordan Cookson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arthur McLulich's late challenge caught a Drummore United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur McLulich helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hamilton getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arthur McLulich hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hamilton's Conor McMorran got a free kick in the 48th minute. If Gareth Hutchenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alex Robinson made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Alex Robinson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jordan Cookson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Drew McKinnon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Cookson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Cookson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Robinson in the 65th minute of play. Jordan Cookson came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Drummore United's Alex Robinson. But to his dismay, Alex Robinson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 75th minute Eddie McWalrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Cookson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Gareth Hutchenson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordan Cookson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Drew Forsyth came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Hamilton's Robbie McTary. But to his dismay, Robbie McTary quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Alex Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Cookson having to interfere. Gareth Hutchenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gareth Hutchenson in the 97th minute of play forced Hamilton's goalkeeper Jordan Cookson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 99 minutes into the game, Alex Robinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jordan Cookson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Drummore United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
