Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anthony Norman kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Kevin Carson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Tonnochy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Carson went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anthony Norman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip Murchison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Shane Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Yarmouth got a freekick which was hit by Rick McRaith. When Anthony Norman came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Dunblane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Norman couldn't finish the play. Kevin Tonnochy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Archibald's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Kevin Carson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Tonnochy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Shane Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Norman in the 37th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Carson was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Benjamin O'Shaig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunblane's Kevin Tonnochy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reece Milroy in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yarmouth defense, Matt McCammon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shane Murphy. The Yarmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shane Murphy should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Yarmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick McRaith to maneuver through the defense. Terry McMichael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Murphy having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Phillip Murchison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yarmouth's Shane Murphy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Tonnochy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Carson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Phillip Murchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Murphy having to interfere.
