Spectators: 6802 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Haddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Neish to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes Haddington got a freekick which was hit by Matthew McRobbie. In the 6th minute of the match Davie Beath shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calum Drummond showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haddington's Calum Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Borthwick in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jeremy McIlreach fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robert McAindra, passed just outside the right post. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haddington's goalkeeper Calum Drummond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stephen McEachran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Jeremy McIlreach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robert McAindra. Jeremy McIlreach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gregor Neil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Haddington's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dean Borthwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fraser Arthur kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Calum Drummond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luke McFarquhar's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Dean Borthwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Calum Drummond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy McIlreach in the 44th minute of play forced Dunkeld's goalkeeper Robert McAindra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon McIndeor's late challenge caught a Haddington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon McIndeor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dunkeld's Simon McIndeor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Robert McAindra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Douglas Aitcheson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremy McIlreach to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert McAindra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy McIlreach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Borthwick was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 55th minute, Matthew McRobbie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke McFarquhar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 60 minutes into the game, Gregor Neil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haddington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunkeld the free kick. The supporters of Dunkeld booed when Haddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Neil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Aitcheson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Luke McFarquhar struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Calum Drummond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunkeld. In the 75th minute, Simon McIndeor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stephen McEachran came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Haddington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen McEachran couldn't finish the play. Robert McAindra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy McIlreach in the 77th minute of play. Billy McRaith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Drummond having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dunkeld's Davie Beath got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Jeremy McIlreach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haddington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Jeremy McIlreach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haddington's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
