The long shot by Connor Murdoson in the 16th minute really tested Jake King's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. William Applebys short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Jake King to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Milroy in the 22nd minute of play forced Corrour's goalkeeper Jake King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Appleby got free with Jake King in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Appleby in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jake King prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Appleby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Adam Milroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willie Griesck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, William Appleby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Biggar United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Robin McCosram hit a great ball. Brandon McLardy hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a left leg Jake King saved Corrour from getting behind. Nick McBean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Grewar in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Irvin Alcock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Willie Griesck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Biggar United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
