Ron McShimes came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Corrour's Phil Ashmore. But to his dismay, Phil Ashmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mackenzie Klan FC's Ron McShimes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Ashmore in the 8th minute of play. If Tony Symon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Corrour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Grier to maneuver through the defense. Tony Symon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mackenzie Klan FC's Ron McShimes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Ashmore in the 16th minute of play. Joshua Sorely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron McShimes having to interfere. When Joshua Sorely fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corrour's protests and gave Joshua Sorely a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Corrour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Sorely to maneuver through the defense. Ron McShimes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Sorely, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ron McShimes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Ashmore in the 24th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Mackenzie Klan FC's Tony Symon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iain Hobson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Corrour's Quentin Webster got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mackenzie Klan FC's Ron McShimes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Sorely in the 37th minute of play. Ron McShimes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sorely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Symon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain Hobson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Joshua Sorely came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Corrour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Sorely couldn't finish the play. If Phil Ashmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Mackenzie Klan FC's Robert Blain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iain Hobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Phil Ashmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Tony Symon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mackenzie Klan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 85 minutes into the game, Jay Watt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mackenzie Klan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corrour the free kick. The supporters of Corrour booed when Mackenzie Klan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Watt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ron McShimes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joshua Sorely's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Corrour's zone, Tony Symon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iain Hobson came out of the goal and Tony Symon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tony Symon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Sorely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ron McShimes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corrour players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mackenzie Klan FC.
