Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronan Lockerbie took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Neil in the 3rd minute of play forced High Land Scotland's goalkeeper Ivan Kendrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Barry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregor Philipson in the 13th minute. Arthur Barry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Lockerbie in the 15th minute of play. Gregor Philipson in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur Barry, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gregor Philipson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beauly AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ronan Lockerbie 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Ronan Lockerbie came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the High Land Scotland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronan Lockerbie couldn't finish the play. Gregor Philipson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Barry having to interfere. Calum McCuish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Kendrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calum McCuish's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Morris during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, High Land Scotland's Eric Morris got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Neil was the one to do the kick off. Beauly AFC's Calum McCuish got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Beauly AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John McKnight to maneuver through the defense. Ronan Lockerbie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Neil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Brian Neil might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Kendrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Neil ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Eric Morris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barry. Beauly AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Morris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Quentin McKinnell's late challenge caught a Beauly AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin McKinnell helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beauly AFC booed when High Land Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin McKinnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, High Land Scotland's goalkeeper Ivan Kendrick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Barnfather. 76 minutes into the match, Gregor Philipson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barry. Beauly AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregor Philipson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Brian Neil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Gregor Philipson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Barry was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. High Land Scotland's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
