Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mike Russell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullane's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Russell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie McRae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Doles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gullane! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Pokémon GO. Luke McOwl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andy Graham. 0-1. Gullane's Andy Graham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay McAndrew in the 18th minute of play. Jay McAndrew scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Graham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicky Basnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie McRae having to make a save. Willie McMenzies hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Ken Dempster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Russell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pokémon GO's Willie McMenzies got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gullane's Mike Russell got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicky Basnett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie McRae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Russell in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Pokémon GO's Eddie McRae got control of the ball when Sam McBheath tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nicky Basnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jay McAndrew came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pokémon GO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay McAndrew couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Jay McAndrew made the kick off in the second half. Calum McMonies succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 58th playminute. The supporters of Pokémon GO booed when Gullane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt McBurie didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jay McAndrew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Jay McAndrew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mike Russell came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gullane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Russell couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Nicky Basnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie McRae. Pokémon GO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicky Basnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 80 minutes into the game, Nicky Basnett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gullane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pokémon GO the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Gullane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Basnett to maneuver through the defense. Andy Graham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay McAndrew in the 82nd minute of play. Jay McAndrew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Graham having to interfere. Andy Graham made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Calum McMonies sent off a good shot on target. When Matt McBurie came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gullane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt McBurie couldn't finish the play. Chants of Pokémon GO echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gullane had held the ball for most of the match.
