He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falkirk reached it. When Miles Gruer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, AV4 United's Miles Gruer got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Grant McAngus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falkirk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grant McAngus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liam McAuslane hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. AV4 United's Mike Arrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant McAngus in the 19th minute of play. When Ter Beadle came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Falkirk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ter Beadle couldn't finish the play. AV4 United's Mike Arrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant McAngus in the 28th minute of play. Ter Beadle might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Arrol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ter Beadle ran back to his position shaking his head. Mike Arrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant McAngus in the 34th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ter Beadle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harold Hughson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew McIock, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Innes Spittal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mike Arrol made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Grant McAngus sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, AV4 United's Mike Arrol got control of the ball when Grant McAngus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
