Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Landers took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Falkirk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen McHardy to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Peter McChruiter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harold Hughson skillfully saved the ball. Harold Hughson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Ellwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Grant McAngus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ter Beadle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calum McRobb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Falkirk's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Landers came free, but Harold Hughson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Ellwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edward McQuarrie fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falkirk's protests and gave Edward McQuarrie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Iron Islands FC. Ronan Cumming stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harold Hughson. 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Falkirk's Grant McAngus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calum McRobb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Landers in the 27th minute of play forced Falkirk's goalkeeper Harold Hughson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calum McRobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ter Beadle in the 31st minute of play. Tony Fee charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Fee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Tony Fee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Marcus Landers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold Hughson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Falkirk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Iron Islands FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ter Beadle to strike the kick off in the second half. Calum McRobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ter Beadle in the 63rd minute of play. Grant McAngus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum McRobb having to interfere. Calum McRobb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grant McAngus's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Simon Ellwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Islands FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Ellwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harold Hughson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Landers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant McAngus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ter Beadle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calum McRobb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Iron Islands FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
