Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blair Norie got the match started through his kick off. After 15 minutes, Terry Burdon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broxburn City and the Last Train To London UK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Broxburn City got a freekick which was hit by Terry Burdon. Last Train To London UK's Terry Loudoun got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Blair Norie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jake Barron made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Ferson in the 21st minute. A collision led to Last Train To London UK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Norman Burdon hit a great ball. If Shaun McKintosh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th play minute John Ferson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jake Barron. 2-1. Thomas McGillegowie charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas McGillegowie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Broxburn City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas McGillegowie to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Last Train To London UK's zone, Thomas McGillegowie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Barron came out of the goal and Thomas McGillegowie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Loudoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Ferson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Barron having to interfere. Terry Loudoun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor McCaig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Jake Barron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Ferson in the 57th minute of the match. When Joseph Roy came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Broxburn City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Roy couldn't finish the play. Shaun McKintosh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Barron having to interfere. Gregor McCaig was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joshua McLure. In the 81st match minute, Last Train To London UK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willie McKail to maneuver through the defense. Terry Loudoun struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gregor McCaig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Last Train To London UK. Jake Barron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Ferson in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun McKintosh in the 89th minute of play forced Last Train To London UK's goalkeeper Jake Barron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Shaun McKintosh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Loudoun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gregor McCaig made a huge save. Blair Norie struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gregor McCaig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Last Train To London UK. Last Train To London UK's Jake Barron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Ferson in the 97th minute of play. Broxburn City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Last Train To London UK for a fine match.
