In the 9th match minute, William Wallace FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Robson to maneuver through the defense. William Wallace FC's Scott McColman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Innes McCorkill in the 10th minute of play. Samuel McTier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Risk having to interfere. After some careless play in the William Wallace FC defense, Innes McCorkill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott McColman. The William Wallace FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott McColman should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Reece McHarold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Scott McColman was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Owen Risk made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Samuel McTier sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Samuel McTier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The William Wallace FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Innes McCorkill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reece McHarold in the 28th minute of play forced William Wallace FC's goalkeeper Scott McColman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, David Connor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Owen Risk, 2-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Connor was the one to do the kick off. Alistair Green hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Scott McColman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Innes McCorkill, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, William Wallace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Innes McCorkill came free, but Scott McColman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Samuel McTier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Risk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Connor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lochailort getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Timothy Lonie hit a great ball. If David Connor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel McTier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Watt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innes McCorkill in the 71st minute of play forced William Wallace FC's goalkeeper Scott McColman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Nick Mathie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes William Wallace FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Mathie. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by William Wallace FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Timothy Lonie was slow to take the kick. During this time Lochailort's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Innes McCorkill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lochailort's supporters rose to their feet, but Innes McCorkill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scott McColman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Innes McCorkill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott McColman having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
