Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kenny McAuselan took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Dalwhinnie FC's Josh McIlwhom got control of the ball when Owen Carmichael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josh McIlwhom came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Banchory AFC's Vinny Lamondson. But to his dismay, Vinny Lamondson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Timothy McBeolain notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Banchory AFC's Johnny Taggart. Johnny Taggart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rob Griesck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josh McIlwhom came out and tried to block the shot, but Rob Griesck slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 19th minute. Johnny Taggart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy McBeolain in the 27th minute of play. Kenny McAuselan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny Taggart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny McAuselan in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny McAuselan in the 36th minute of play forced Banchory AFC's goalkeeper Johnny Taggart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalwhinnie FC's Kenny McAuselan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timothy McBeolain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kenny McAuselan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vinny Lamondson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dalwhinnie FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rob Griesck 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. After 47 minutes of play, Dalwhinnie FC's Kenny McAuselan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Taggart was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Griesck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vinny Lamondson made a precise shot to the right of Josh McIlwhom. Dalwhinnie FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny McAuselan in the 59th minute of play forced Banchory AFC's goalkeeper Johnny Taggart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalwhinnie FC's Timothy McBeolain got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dalwhinnie FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Thomas Hardie hit a great ball. Banchory AFC's Rob Griesck managed to work through Dalwhinnie FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rob Griesck dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Josh McIlwhom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinny Lamondson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinny Lamondson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenny McAuselan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Taggart having to interfere. Banchory AFC's Vinny Lamondson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Banchory AFC's Johnny Taggart got control of the ball when Thomas Hardie tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Banchory AFC's zone, Timothy McBeolain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Taggart came out of the goal and Timothy McBeolain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Banchory AFC's goalkeeper Johnny Taggart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timothy McBeolain. In the 97th minute Kenny McAuselan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Taggart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Timothy McBeolain came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Dalwhinnie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timothy McBeolain couldn't finish the play. The Banchory AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
