Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Biggar FC's Kyle Finlayson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Biggar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Abrahams came free, but Danny McPhadden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddie Gunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rod McDuff made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jim Alsop sent off a good shot on target. Danny McPhadden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Gunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Biggar FC's Ter McKintosh got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Danny McPhadden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Abrahams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rod McDuff came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Biggar FC's Jim Alsop. But to his dismay, Jim Alsop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jim Alsop struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rod McDuff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biggar FC. In the 34th minute, Phil Abrahams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rod McDuff was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Kyle Finlayson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kyle Finlayson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Rod McDuff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Kyle Finlayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Phil Abrahams to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Danny McPhadden managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Perth AFC's Phil Abrahams fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danny McPhadden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Abrahams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Biggar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ter McKintosh. Rod McDuff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Alsop in the 87th minute of the match. Kyle Finlayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod McDuff having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Joshua McThomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biggar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua McThomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jim Alsop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Harper kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
