Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wal McCamie kicked off to start the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Oliver Hossack who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westhill's Jake Blake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Wal McCamie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westhill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wal McCamie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Westhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun McCalman to maneuver through the defense. Aviemore City's Oliver Hossack got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Aviemore City's Craig McLarty got control of the ball when Roy Lombard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Iain Conochie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Hossack might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Blake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Hossack ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, one of Aviemore City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aviemore City. The goalkeeper, Craig McLarty, was totally fooled by Westhill's Gary Barbour, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Roy Lombard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iain Conochie was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wal Hewitson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig McLarty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quentin Colyear hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Roy Lombard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Craig McLarty was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Brian Harvey kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th play minute Oliver Hossack came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jake Blake. 1-1. Shaun McCalman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Aviemore City's Craig McLarty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wal McCamie in the 71st minute of play. Kyle Donaldson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Aviemore City's goal looked a bit too open when Wal McCamie came free, but Craig McLarty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aviemore City's Craig McLarty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Lombard in the 78th minute of play. Craig McLarty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus McNee in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Gus McNee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig McLarty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Hossack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jake Blake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Westhill getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Brian Harvey hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Westhill's Wal McCamie got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
