Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) Martin Cruickshanks made the kick off and thus started the match. Wick's Harold McIldowie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Hossack in the 3rd minute of play. If Iain Conochie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Martin Cruickshanks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Martin Cruickshanks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Oliver Hossack notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wick's Harold McIldowie. Harold McIldowie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 17 played minutes Aviemore City got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Reilly. Nicky Boon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Craig McLarty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Cruickshanks, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Wick's Lee McGilchrist got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Aviemore City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gareth Harold to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Hossack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Harold McIldowie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold McIldowie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iain Conochie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Iain Conochie made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Iain Conochie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harold McIldowie. The goal made the score 0-2. After 59 played minutes Aviemore City got a freekick which was hit by Iain Conochie. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wick's goalkeeper Harold McIldowie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harold McIldowie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iain Conochie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Wick booed when Aviemore City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Colyear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Cruickshanks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Craig McLarty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee McGilchrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig McLarty having to interfere. Oliver Hossack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Harold McIldowie made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Aviemore City's Iain Conochie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harold McIldowie. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Hossack got free with Harold McIldowie in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harold McIldowie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iain Conochie, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Oliver Hossack who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Harold McIldowie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aviemore City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
