Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jack Burnett started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Jack Burnett made a precise shot to the right of Fraser Malcolmson. Dalwhinnie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 9 played minutes Lochboisdale got a freekick which was hit by Gavin McCash. After 16 minutes, Douglas Buckley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dalwhinnie and the Lochboisdale players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Dalwhinnie got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Buckley. Douglas Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd McAuslane having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Lochboisdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Austin to maneuver through the defense. Fraser Howe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd McAuslane having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Jack Burnett notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dalwhinnie's Fraser Malcolmson. Fraser Malcolmson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Dalwhinnie booed when Lochboisdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terry Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, one of Lochboisdale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Dalwhinnie's Harold Walker got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lloyd McAuslane. Jack Burnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Lochboisdale got a freekick which was hit by Gavin McCash. Fraser Malcolmson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Anderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Walter Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraser Malcolmson having to interfere. Fraser Howe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin McCash in the 52nd minute of play forced Dalwhinnie's goalkeeper Fraser Malcolmson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Lochboisdale's goal looked a bit too open when Fraser Howe came free, but Lloyd McAuslane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Douglas Buckley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalwhinnie's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Buckley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lloyd McAuslane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lochboisdale's Lloyd McAuslane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Howe in the 57th minute of play. Fraser Malcolmson was a little too slow when Jack Burnett got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-4. After 64 played minutes Dalwhinnie got a freekick which was hit by Paddy Train. 67 minutes into the match, Jack Burnett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fraser Malcolmson, 1-5. In the 80th match minute, Dalwhinnie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davie Bell to maneuver through the defense. Jack Burnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lochboisdale booed when Dalwhinnie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy McQuartie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-7 became the score in the 88th minute when Walter Anderson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Dalwhinnie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Farquharson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dalwhinnie's zone, Jack Burnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fraser Malcolmson came out of the goal and Jack Burnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lochboisdale's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
