Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luke McAusland kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Frank Duffus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Cunningham in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyle Doles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Rangers F.C.'s Adam Acton to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricky Yuill despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luke McAusland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricky Yuill came out and tried to block the shot, but Luke McAusland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Rangers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when James Cunningham came free, but Kyle Doles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke McAusland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Yuill having to interfere. Oliver McSwen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Frank Duffus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike McDulothe charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike McDulothe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Rangers F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike McDulothe to maneuver through the defense. If Frank Duffus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Nicholas McQuey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Stirling Football Club's James Cunningham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kyle Doles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kyle Doles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Duffus in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luke McAusland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luke McAusland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Yuill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Cunningham to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricky Yuill came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers F.C.'s Luke McAusland. But to his dismay, Luke McAusland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Frank Duffus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Doles having to interfere. Rangers F.C.'s Kyle Doles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rangers F.C. from getting a goal against them. Patrick Ferson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, James Cunningham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stirling Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but James Cunningham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Henry Haws hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricky Yuill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Haws in the 84th minute of the match. Ricky Yuill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke McAusland in the 88th minute of play. If Luke McAusland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky Fletcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rangers F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
