The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taylor Balfour to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Peterhead AFC's zone, Taylor Balfour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timothy McKerlich came out of the goal and Taylor Balfour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cameron Wallace blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Elliot having to make a save. 97 minutes into the match, Peterhead AFC's goalkeeper Timothy McKerlich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry Comine. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Achnasheen FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
