Achnasheen FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after St. Johns FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josh McLarty took the corner. The corner led Achnasheen FC's Josh McLarty to fire away a dangerous shot which Joshua Gilbride despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremy Borthwick struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Eddie Elliot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Johns FC. Cameron McCammond hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Harold Grewar's late challenge caught a Achnasheen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josh McLarty took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joshua Gilbride. St. Johns FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremy Borthwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Borthwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Elliot having to interfere. Harold Grewar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Taylor Balfour came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Achnasheen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taylor Balfour couldn't finish the play. Wayne McCaskill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Joshua Gilbride tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barry Comine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The St. Johns FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
