Timothy McKerlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Forester in the 9th minute of play. Robbie Forester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miles Abbotson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timothy McKerlich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Robbie Forester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Timothy McKerlich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Peterhead AFC got a freekick which was hit by Theo Dempster. Robbie Forester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Timothy McKerlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy McKerlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Forester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Dempster hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Forester in the 31st minute of play forced Peterhead AFC's goalkeeper Timothy McKerlich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timothy McKerlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Abbotson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robbie Forester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robbie Forester struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Timothy McKerlich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larbert FC. In the 42nd minute, Robbie Forester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Larbert FC's Guy Kilgour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cameron Wallace in the 52nd minute of play. Robbie Forester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Timothy McKerlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Peterhead AFC booed when Larbert FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamish McNuir didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Ron Gunn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Timothy McKerlich quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Timothy McKerlich was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robbie Forester showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. Timothy McKerlich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miles Abbotson in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Miles Abbotson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larbert FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miles Abbotson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timothy McKerlich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robbie Forester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Timothy McKerlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbie Forester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timothy McKerlich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Robbie Forester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larbert FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Forester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 89th minute, Miles Abbotson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timothy McKerlich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Robbie Forester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Larbert FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peterhead AFC.
