Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony McCorry in the 3rd minute of play forced Glenrothes's goalkeeper Gus Barns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony McCorry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gus Barns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Glenrothes's goal looked a bit too open when Tony McCorry came free, but Gus Barns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max McCalman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the House Of Cards FC defense, Martin Tyre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phillip Donachie. The House Of Cards FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phillip Donachie should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Martin Tyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Donachie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lewis McGugan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Barns having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Glenrothes's Samuel Archibald got a free kick in the 31st minute. The House Of Cards FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glenrothes were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Archibald was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Martin Tyre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Phillip Donachie, passed just outside the right post. Samuel Archibald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Phillip Donachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, House Of Cards FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael McPetrie to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Archibald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Phillip Donachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony McCorry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Barns having to interfere. Samuel Archibald struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Phillip Donachie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenrothes. After 73 played minutes House Of Cards FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael McPetrie. In the 76th minute, Martin Tyre made a precise shot to the right of Phillip Donachie. House Of Cards FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 79th minute Lewis McGugan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gus Barns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lewis McGugan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gus Barns having to interfere. When Tony McCorry came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the House Of Cards FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony McCorry couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Glenrothes got a freekick which was hit by Max McCalman. House Of Cards FC's Phillip Donachie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Archibald in the 87th minute of play. Norman Corstorphine's late challenge caught a Glenrothes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norman Corstorphine helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, House Of Cards FC's Norman Corstorphine got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Glenrothes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
