The corner led Emily Soccer FC's Eric Robison to fire away a dangerous shot which Guy McKinlay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Lochwinnoch United defense, Ryan McLeister kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy McKinlay. The Lochwinnoch United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy McKinlay should have stopped the shot. The Lochwinnoch United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emily Soccer FC were winning 0-1.
