Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) James Alistair started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Tim Hawthorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Scott Bryde got free with Mike McGaw in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee McRitchie in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike McGaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee McRitchie in the 14th minute of play forced Emily Soccer FC's goalkeeper Mike McGaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike McGaw made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Scott Bryde sent off a good shot on target. Lee McRitchie kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ryan McLeister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sam Fee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Alistair, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ryan McLeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Bryde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike McGaw having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Iain McMath was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strathcarron City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emily Soccer FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Strathcarron City got a freekick which was hit by Iain McMath. Sam Fee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Alistair's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Chris McCorrie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sam Fee. Strathcarron City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nigel McDonachie kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. James Alistair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sam Fee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike McGaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee McRitchie in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lee McRitchie made a kick off. Emily Soccer FC's Mike McGaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee McRitchie in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Scott Bryde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike McGaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Strathcarron City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Bryde to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Emily Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Hawthorn to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Strathcarron City's Matthew Crookshanks tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexander McTier hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Lee McRitchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike McGaw having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Scott Bryde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strathcarron City's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Bryde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike McGaw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Lee McRitchie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mike McGaw was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ryan McLeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lee McRitchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
