Dean Fairley scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joe Grieve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob McKinning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Forster having to interfere. Dean Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Campbeltown getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dean Russell hit a great ball. Charles Forster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob McKinning in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Campbeltown's Josh McRory got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Caesarians's Dean Fairley in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campbeltown's goalie prevented a goal. Campbeltown's Jacob McKinning got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Caesarians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick McGillivantic to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Ronnie Ogilvy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Forster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob McKinning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caesarians's Jake Eadie got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Edmond McKeachan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Dean Fairley made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Caesarians:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Campbeltown:s goal. Joe Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Fairley, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Joe Grieve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard McTaggart in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dean Fairley took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joe Grieve to make any attempt to save it. Campbeltown's Joe Grieve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Fairley in the 66th minute of play. If Richard McTaggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Caesarians's Patrick McGillivantic got a free kick in the 70th minute. Richard McTaggart struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Joe Grieve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caesarians. Dean Fairley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard McTaggarts short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Joe Grieve to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patrick McGillivantic hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When John Keene fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caesarians's protests and gave John Keene a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caesarians's John Keene got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Joe Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Fairley, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Richard McTaggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caesarians's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
