Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronnie Ogilvy kicked off to start the match. Joe Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Wass, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jacob McKinnings short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Joshua McGruer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dominic Hallyard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edinburgh Pirates AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Hallyard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Grieve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinburgh Pirates AFC's Dominic Hallyard got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joe Grieve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calum Copeland's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Jacob McKinning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, John Wass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joe Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calum Copeland in the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Dean Russell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Calum Copeland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dominic Hallyard made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Josh McRory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua McGruer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Campbeltown's Ronnie Ogilvy in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edinburgh Pirates AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ronnie Ogilvy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua McGruer having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Edinburgh Pirates AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob McKinning came free, but Joshua McGruer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Edinburgh Pirates AFC's Elliot McKelvie got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jacob McKinning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Joshua McGruer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joshua McGruer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob McKinning's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ronnie Ogilvy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute of the match Elliot McCorrie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joe Grieve skillfully saved the ball. Dominic Hallyard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joe Grieve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Darius Ainslie charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius Ainslie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 83 minutes into the game, one of Edinburgh Pirates AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edinburgh Pirates AFC's Calum Copeland got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Campbeltown's zone, Dominic Hallyard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Grieve came out of the goal and Dominic Hallyard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Hallyard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Grieve having to make a save. After 96 minutes of play, Edinburgh Pirates AFC's Calum Copeland made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joe Grieve was left in no man's land by his defense there!
