Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gus Hobson made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Sam Banks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seaview's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Johnstone FC the free kick. When Miles McColman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Johnstone FC's protests and gave Miles McColman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Seaview booed when Saint Johnstone FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles McColman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominic McKinven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles McLarty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominic McKinven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian McGilvernock in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles McLarty in the 15th minute of play forced Saint Johnstone FC's goalkeeper Dominic McKinven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gus Hobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lewis Crozier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seaview's zone, Gordon McHarold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Crozier came out of the goal and Gordon McHarold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jamie Dunnachie came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Seaview fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Dunnachie couldn't finish the play. When Seaview's Jamie Dunnachie in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saint Johnstone FC's goalie prevented a goal. Charles McLarty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic McKinven having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saint Johnstone FC defense, Charles McLarty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominic McKinven. The Saint Johnstone FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominic McKinven should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Seaview's Charles McLarty got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gus Hobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Crozier having to interfere. Dominic McKinven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Dunnachie, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charles McLarty made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jamie Dunnachie took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Dominic McKinven to make any attempt to save it. If Henry McCarter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Seaview's Timmy Gilroy got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes, Alisdair Hutchinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seaview and the Saint Johnstone FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seaview fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Saint Johnstone FC. Blair McGuffie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lewis Crozier. 1-2. Seaview's Lewis Crozier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Hobson in the 70th minute of play. Jamie Dunnachie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic McKinven having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Miles McColman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Seaview's Alisdair Hutchinson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Gus Hobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Seaview left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saint Johnstone FC.
