The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ter Turner fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radical Bastards FC's protests and gave Ter Turner a yellow card for diving instead. Ter Turner hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Linlithgow's Thomas Cunningham couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Radical Bastards FC. If Michael Coutts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Taylor McCartney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan McCammon in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Radical Bastards FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ter Turner hit a great ball. Taylor McCartney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronan McCammon in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronan McCammon in the 17th minute of play forced Radical Bastards FC's goalkeeper Taylor McCartney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radical Bastards FC's Taylor McCartney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Radical Bastards FC from getting a goal against them. When Linlithgow's Ronan McCammon in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 37th minute, Michael Coutts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linlithgow were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Radical Bastards FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Cunningham took the corner. Thomas Cunningham made a great header on Linlithgow's corner, it was just that Radical Bastards FC's Taylor McCartney managed to reach the ball for a save. 44 minutes into the match, Linlithgow's goal looked a bit too open when Brian McNuir came free, but Jake McKillop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Brian McNuir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Linlithgow's Jake McKillop. Jake McKillop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronan McCammon was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Linlithgow's Bruce Sporran got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Kenny Moore sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jake McKillop threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kenny Moore this time. A collision led to Radical Bastards FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lee McLamond hit a great ball. Ronan McCammon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian McNuir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Coutts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brian McNuir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake McKillop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ron Hewitson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jake McKillop made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Brian McNuir sent off a good shot on target. Ron Hewitson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake McKillop having to interfere. A collision led to Linlithgow getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stevie Niven hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Radical Bastards FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan McCammon came free, but Taylor McCartney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Linlithgow players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
