Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Innes McVanish made the kick off which started today's match. Ron Hewitson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Taylor McGilvernock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian McNuir in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taylor McGilvernock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregor McClymont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Taylor McCartney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Gregor McClymont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radical Bastards FC's Taylor McCartney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Radical Bastards FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Ryde's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Hewitson came free, but Taylor McGilvernock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Ryde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander McIlreach to maneuver through the defense. Quentin Gilroy hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Kenny Moore was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ron Hewitson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Ryde got a freekick which was hit by Alexander McIlreach. Kenny Moore, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ron Hewitson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Innes McVanish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Innes McVanish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor McCartney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gregor McClymont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Gregor McClymont elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute Gregor McClymont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor McCartney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Hewitson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Taylor McGilvernock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radical Bastards FC. Taylor McGilvernock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Hewitson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Fairbairn kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Radical Bastards FC's Ter Turner got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Innes McVanish had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taylor McCartney. Radical Bastards FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Innes McVanish was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ryde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Radical Bastards FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
