Spectators: 6804 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 0) Ronan McCammon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Bruce Sporran came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Linlithgow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Sporran couldn't finish the play. Innes McVanish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jake McKillop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander McIlreach during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Ryde got a freekick which was hit by Alexander McIlreach. If Ronan McCammon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Coutts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Taylor McGilvernock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 16 played minutes Ryde got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Gilroy. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ronan McCammon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Taylor McGilvernock to make any attempt to save it. Taylor McGilvernock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Coutts's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Michael Coutts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Taylor McGilvernock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jake McKillop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor McClymont in the 30th minute of play. Gregor McClymont struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jake McKillop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde. Jake McKillop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Innes McVanish in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Ronan McCammon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linlithgow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronan McCammon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronan McCammon took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taylor McGilvernock. Taylor McGilvernock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Michael Coutts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Taylor McGilvernock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ryde's Gregor McClymont got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Innes McVanish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake McKillop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Linlithgow's zone, Gregor McClymont stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake McKillop came out of the goal and Gregor McClymont tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Linlithgow's Jake McKillop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Innes McVanish in the 63rd minute of play. If Michael Coutts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake McKillop made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gregor McClymont sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Cameron Menzies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linlithgow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ryde the free kick. Gregor McClymont scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jake McKillop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Innes McVanish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake McKillop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linlithgow's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
