Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Phil Skinner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gareth McQuartie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Watt in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Alan Watt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gareth McQuartie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Humbie's Phil Skinner in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aviemore FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gareth McQuartie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Watt in the 18th minute of play. Stevie McAlonie kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Alan Watt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius McLucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Skinner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aviemore FC's Alan Watt got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Watt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George McCaskill in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gareth McQuartie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by George McCaskill in the 39th minute of play forced Humbie's goalkeeper Gareth McQuartie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gareth McQuartie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Watt in the 44th minute of the match. George McCaskill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gareth McQuartie having to interfere. The Humbie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aviemore FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when George McCaskill made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Aviemore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Skinner came free, but Darius McLucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Reece McHendrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darius McLucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Aviemore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reece McHendrie came free, but Darius McLucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Humbie got a corner. Aviemore FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregor Lowson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aviemore FC's Darius McLucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Skinner in the 65th minute of play. Alan Watt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gareth McQuartie having to interfere. Alan Watt struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gareth McQuartie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aviemore FC. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gareth McQuartie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th match minute, Aviemore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Duffus to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Gregor Lowson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darius McLucas skillfully saved the ball. If Reece McHendrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Watt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gareth McQuartie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stevie Fergus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Darius McLucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aviemore FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
