A collision led to Biggar getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Les Adie hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ewan McConochie managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Alfordigans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewan McConochie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas McQuarrie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irvin Boyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Les Adie went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Douglas McQuarrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan McConochie in the 30th minute of play. When Biggar's Les Adie in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of The Alfordigans FC booed when Biggar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Stringer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Alfordigans FC's goalkeeper Irvin Boyd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ewan McConochie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Irvin Boyd saved The Alfordigans FC from getting behind. Irvin Boyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Greenlaw in the 77th minute of the match. Stephen Cole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Les Adie got free with Irvin Boyd in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quentin Borthwick kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Irvin Boyd came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Biggar's Troy Mavor. But to his dismay, Troy Mavor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Biggar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
