Tyler McMunn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Robin Barnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brzeszcze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biggar the free kick. A collision led to Brzeszcze getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Robin Barnes hit a great ball. Tyler McMunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Greenlaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Douglas McQuarrie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Adair in the 23rd minute. Brzeszcze's Tyler McMunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Les Adie in the 24th minute of play. Tony Cousland struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Douglas McQuarrie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brzeszcze. Tyler McMunn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Brzeszcze's goal looked a bit too open when Les Adie came free, but Tyler McMunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Biggar were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nigel Greenlaw stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brzeszcze's Tyler McMunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Brzeszcze from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Les Adie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biggar's supporters rose to their feet, but Les Adie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyler McMunn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Les Adie got free with Tyler McMunn in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Adair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas McQuarrie having to interfere. Tony Cousland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
