Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tony Cousland kicked off to start the match. Brzeszcze's Tyler McMunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Durrant in the 3rd minute of play. Malcolm Durrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malcolm Durrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler McMunn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wick's zone, Alex Adair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Alderson came out of the goal and Alex Adair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Cousland in the 15th minute of play forced Wick's goalkeeper Thomas Alderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Wick got a freekick which was hit by Gary Barbour. Thomas Alderson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Cousland in the 17th minute of play. Marcus McCansh kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alex Adair scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Alderson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wick's Thomas Alderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Cousland in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Nicholas Fee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Alderson skillfully saved the ball. Tony Cousland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Thomas Alderson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Alderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Adair, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Marcus McCansh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyler McMunn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Tyler McMunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Durrant, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Brzeszcze got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Denune. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Malcolm Durrant made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brzeszcze's goalkeeper Tyler McMunn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Wick got a freekick which was hit by Gary Barbour. Marcus McCansh struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Tyler McMunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wick. Marcus McCansh might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyler McMunn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus McCansh ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 96 minutes, Marcus McCansh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus McCansh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
