The supporters of Scotland Soccer Star booed when King Of The North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun McChoiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Scotland Soccer Star getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Irvin McGillonie hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Shaun McChoiter managed to get in a good position for a shot. King Of The North's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaun McChoiter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Whannell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Scotland Soccer Star's Simon Whannell got control of the ball when Lucas Cleland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Tim McKichan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kieran Campbell skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute, Alan Esson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kieran Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Lobban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Lobban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kieran Campbell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Scotland Soccer Star's Evan Dobie got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Acton in the 29th minute of play forced Scotland Soccer Star's goalkeeper Simon Whannell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alisdair Blackburn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Adrian Lobban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieran Campbell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kieran Campbell came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland Soccer Star's Adrian Lobban. But to his dismay, Adrian Lobban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Acton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute King Of The North were awarded a corner. Edmond Garvie went to the cornerflag to take it. Jacob Forbes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Simon Whannell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Acton in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adrian Lobban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland Soccer Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Lobban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Campbell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Cleland in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Whannell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. King Of The North's Kieran Campbell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alisdair Blackburn in the 65th minute of play. Johnny Acton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Whannell having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evan Dobie during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Scotland Soccer Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evan Dobie to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, King Of The North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot McRury to maneuver through the defense. If Alisdair Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Johnny Acton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Simon Whannell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lucas Cleland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Simon Whannell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Lobban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Kieran Campbell made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
