Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reece Neish kicked off to start the match. Edward Arrol's late challenge caught a Appin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Arrol helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Biggar got a freekick which was hit by Edward Arrol. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Reece Neish managed to get in a good position for a shot. Appin's supporters rose to their feet, but Reece Neish was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Munro Yuille breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Munro Yuille stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reece Neish's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Tom Bartholomew came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Biggar's Terence McLugash. But to his dismay, Terence McLugash quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Appin's Tom Bartholomew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McLugash in the 14th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ricky McGilledon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biggar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Appin the free kick. Ricky McGilledon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Terence McLugash notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Appin's Tom Bartholomew. Tom Bartholomew was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michael Connelly hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Mike Craig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Munro Yuille was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 43rd minute, Phillip Rome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biggar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After the first half Biggar were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Terence McLugash to make the kick off. Tom Bartholomew was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Phillip Rome capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Phillip Rome really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Reece Neish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Appin's Wal Conacher got a free kick in the 80th minute. Munro Yuille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Craig in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Appin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan Cole to maneuver through the defense. Munro Yuille took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Craig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reece Neish succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-5. Biggar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
